hope this letter may find you an the
children in the best of health
i was in the fight but did not
git hurt we are looking for a
nuther one to day an if i git in
it i hope i will Come out
safe tell all the folks howdy for
me an tell them to rite to me
tell Sister i Saw ned
to day an he was well i got the
letter that you rote to me a bout
bob now i must Close for
it is going to rain give my
love to all i am am a
going to be took from the regt
as a pieneer that means a
workman rite Soon my Dear
