My Deare I received youre kind
letter of the 27 inst and I was glad
to heare that you all was well this
leaves me well an quite bussy
I am at work on my house
I will get it don tomorrow if
nothing happens I hope this
may come Safe to hand and find
you all well I have no news to
write to you at preasant you
Said that you did not get the
palmetter it did not Start when
I thought it did capt crawford
will bring it but dont take any
of it for Henry and ed has
got a hand in it and we cant
get a long togeather an so dont
tuch it find out when youre
Father is coming and Send a

and I will send you some palme

and write me a long one I cant
write much for I have to drill
every day we all have got a
new uniform and we have to
