Company Shops NC February the 7 1863
Dear far ther I Seat my self this morning
to drop you afew lines to let you no I am
well hopeing thes few lines may find you all well I have
had a trubel some trip we had to hire a wag gon to
hawl our Boxes [??] kins loded with to bacco
and could not hawl them I will go through if
I live dont fear for me the 21 is not at
goles Burrow it has cost me 26 Dollars
so fare I dont no wether we will get of to
day or not we left high Point yester day on
a freight we cant travel on the night trane
I have no news to wright you must wright
to me I will wright som evry thing is high
snow has ben 12 inches deep here but is
mel ting now John Martin is well no more
at present only Remain your affectionate
