Dear cosin it is with plesure
I drop you theas few lines
After fast returning from
church hearring the good word
of god explain to us all for our
good o cousin I was praid for
My mother farther and relatives
and it made be feel like if
I could only se you all it would
Make me feel hapy but I cannot
Say that I ever shal se you all
Ennymore but I hope you will
Put up the strongest prars for
Me you can and all of my friends and
Relatives for if I never se you all
Again I shal dy a miserble pore sole
[page 2]
I have nothing in this world
Bewhat I would give it to se
You all and talk with you
One more time for your butiful
cheeks crosses over my mind
When you are lying at your rest
give ucle and ant my wormest
Respecks and your brothers and sisters
tell uncle and ant I would give
All I persess to se them but I am now
Lying at the point of the bayonet
Expectting every day my time is
Coming but I trust in the almity
to insist me in returning to you
All again before long I hope theas
few lines will find you all well
O cousin hear is my resspecks to
You if I never se you again J.J Cowand
