Camp Price March 14th 1862
Dear Wife I take the pleasure
of writin you a few lines to inform
you that iam well and hopes these
few lines will reach and find
you in good health as this leaves me
the same at present Thanks be to
god for his kind love to us Dear
Wife i recevied your kind and welcom
letter this evening and was happy
to here from you but was sory
to here that you was Sick but
i hope you will be better when
this comes to hand i started you
my likeness and a letter on the
9 of this month and i want you

to send word if got them or not
as soon as you get this i recevied the letter
and fish you sent me and was happy
to get them i have not drawn any
money yet, but as Soon as i get
it i will send it to you Dear Wife
you need not send me any bed Cloths
for i have got plenty i want you
to write and let me no the reason
that you did not draw any provisen
Dear we are under orders to march
but we dont no wher to but i will
let you no in my next letter
Dear Wife i cant tell you when
i shall come back for there is not
furlous granted now i must to a Close
