Near Hamilton crosings May the 21st 1863

Kinde Wife. Since I last wrote we hav movved
to this place we were marching all yesterday
& night before last I am well only weried by our
Traveling. I do not how long we will
stay at this place but not long I think.
We ar getting very good Rations now to what we
hav bin getting. Nothing of any conciqu
is no[w] going on or has [??] [???] since the late
Battel. giv my love to the famley and Retain
the same for yourself. Tel your sister
Caroline that McIntiers Co is now at Culpeper
CH [???] so we learn by one of the same

command who stade with our Co last
night Isaac Padgtt was the Informer
They were all well when he saw them last
which was only a few Days ago.
you will hear by other letters the perticulars
of the Recent fight to.
Write soon and excuse any
Brivety in writing Nothing more only
