Dear wife I Seat my Self this morning
with pleasure to rite you a few lines
to let you know that I am yet in
they land of they living and I Sincerly
hope When those few lines Comes
to hand they will find you all well
Dear wife I can State that we ar in
our old camps yet I Can inform
that we baked two days rashins last
nite expectin to leave last nite but
Stil hear yet the moves of the army
is hard to find out Dear wife
I want you to rite in your next
leter whether you got that blanket
and coat or not that Coat you can cut
for the boys and make them Some I Sent
Some butons and Some gloves this maks
twoo blankets I Sent you I Can inform
you that I Sent you ten dolers buy
Frederick Smith I also Sent one Doler
in my last leter for Larrance
I Can now State that our runaways is
Come back they got taken up they Come
in yesterday Hosia Huffman John Sheperd
And Henry flowers Milt barns and
murphy barns went on they ar at home
