Morning with pleasure to
let you now that I am well
at this time and I hope
and trust when those few
lines comes to hand they will
find you in the Same State
of health Dear wife I can
State to you that my Sentance
is red I Can tell them it
is two Months laber two
Months of My wages docked
and we ar on our way to
Richmond we leave goldesburow

ther is one thing that I hate
I hate that it taint longer
I wish it was for 12 months
or injuring [1] the war turn over
