we ar all well at presant and I hop
thes few lines may find you well
I wold be gld to see you and I hop
you will cum home to me as sun as you can
and Judy is with me John will sone

the place and we are gitting along very
well with the [horse?] very well
and your hogs are dwoing vry well
that was spaid but won and hit is
dead and I want you to rite back
all the war nuse we heard that
all the officers is called off the geth[er?]
and we hop that it is to try to mak
