opertunity to let you no that I am
well at presant hoping thies
few lines may find you well and
doing well I found John hier
at the straw bery plains 15
miles from knoxville but I
expect to liev hier to nite
to go down to knoxvile but I
do not no how long we wil stay
hier I will rite to you and let you no
they say we wil go to the big creek gap
I want you to rite to me and let
me no how you air geting along
I hav not time to rite [much?] at
presant I found my cows
I hope we will get to come home
before long I want you to to take
good cier of your self til I come home
