My Dear Sons I take plesure
of informing you afew lines to let
you no that we are all in common
Health but Davis he is not weell
he has to get about with his crutches
and you no that is sloe geting about
[but?] I hope theas few lines [ma?] find
[??] bouth well and doing well thare
is agrate many things I would like
to inform you of but time and space
will not admit of it now I receive
your letter that was rote the 31
of may and was very glad to hear
from you and to hear that you
was both well Mrs Barton said
[??n] and little ree has bee [???]
[to?] see us and little ree is as smart
as [he?] can be Daniel Sarepta is
well and Jack is as prety as apicter
the people is generly very late about
working thare corn thare
is but very few that has got over

thare corn but twice yet and
some has jest got over the first
time thare is So mutch rain hear
of late that tha cant work but very
little there has not been but afew
dry days inabout three week and
then the ground is so wet that [i?]

self for I have to hyar some body
to plough for us and I have to
Pay them from 2 to 4 dollars
a Day when you dont get but
about 11 or 15 dollars a mounth
that is bad chance I thinck how

hear that the small grain is injurd
very bad tha sa that the wheat is
in the shock yet and is green
by the wet wither I here every
Day or two that the men is
runing away very offen and

home rather than to go back

did in her life she ses all Day
long she is thincking of you
and of the night she ses she
is Dreaming about you and
thare is not a Day nor night past

sheel you from all harm
