know that I landed home Saf and
found all well weare all well now
but yoar mother she is in very
bad helth tho she is so she is up
I hope that this may find you
and yoar companions in arms all
well I hav nothing of importanc
to rite to you it has bin raining
ever since I came home the creak
has bin over the bottoms all the
weak I hav not planted a
grain of corn yet I am try ing
to get you sum summer pants
but yoar mother is so porly that
I dont know when we will get
them but I will send them to you
as soon as I can I want you to
be a goo boy and doo yoar duty
like a goo soldier tell the boys
