know how we ar all geting on we
are all well except your mother
she is very porley to day she hirt
hir back this morning and can
skersley walk attall but I hope
that she will get better soon
I hope that those fiew lines
may find you and your compan
ions in arms all well and dooing
well I reseivd yoar letter saturdy
morning dated the 22 and also one
from H P Taylor I was very glad
to hear from you all and to
hear that you was well I also
reseivd the letter that lieutenan
fuller braught and I reseivd
yoar pistle but has not had
the chance to get it fixed yet
tho I will hav it on soon and
send it by the first chance that
I hav I rote you aletter by
John Pitts and stated that I

wold send you sum things
by the barer of the letter but
he did not take them I left them
at aunt aners and went to move
fyett that evning and she told
me that John wold not take
them but I will send them the
first chance that I hav fayett
has broak up and moved his
folks up to this settlement and
is going to the wore but has not
desided yet whare he will go
Deer Son you sed that you
wanted my advise what to
doo abut re volentearing I must
confess that I dont know what to
advise you to doo I feal that I
wold be glad if you cold come
home to stay with us again
and has bin trying to consoal
my self that the time that
you volenteard for wold roalarown
d and you and maney of my good
old friend wold cum home again
but now to goin for three years
I feal that it will be a Chance

again but the way the thing
stands you hav but little other
chance and if you think that
you wold rather volentear at
onst than to risk the chances other
wise I will say to you to doo as
you think best tho tho I wold go
with the majority of my company
of the age that is bound by that
act so that is all I can say on
that subject I want you to rite
evry weak without fail let me
know as soon as posible what
you all doo about this matter and
if you reorganise let me know
all yoar officers giv my best love
and respects to all the boys yoar
mess in peticler and keep a portion
yoar self tell them that my best
wishes and harts deziers and feble
prares is always with them and
for them and for you all sowill
close for the presant hoping soon
to hear from you again I stil
