Biography:
John R. Drummond (b. ca. 1834) was the son of a farmer in Barnwell District, South Carolina. He served alongside his brother in the 1st South Carolina Infantry. He was married and had children. He died of pneumonia at Charlottesville, Virginia on January 2, 1863.
