preasent oppertunity
of writing. We are all well & I hope & trust
through the Blessings of the Almity they may
Find injoying the Same blessing I have
nothing of intrust to write to you I Recd
Kind & affectionate of the 27 & 28 of Oct we are
takeing Spceal Care of all your Letters it gives
me great Comfort to hear from you in way
Capt Johns brout good news from you & their
nothing in this wourld that is greater then
good name if you Should live to come thrugh
war & keep good carrecter it will be worth
more thane millions of Dollars It this
is verry [huring?] time with the peopal in this
Section at this time there is great maney
fixing to Leve this Eavnig & great more expcts
to go Next week I dont no but I will have
to go in Short time the Yankes cant Stay
on our Souil Long their good maney in our
Reg yet that hav not turd out yet but
if they are needed I think they will nearley
all go I am Plowing in my wheat but I am
juest comenced I dont no but I will have to
the war bfore week I have got all our
corn getherd we made on both places 71 Loads
that was verry sorey turn out for the Land
we tinded I want to sow Ten bushels of wheat
I have Sent you thee Letters before this one
I think I have Rec 7 fom you I have Nothing
more of Intrust to write I will Bring this

Dear Borther I get the preasent
opportunity of writing A line or two I am well

they will find you well we hant got no other paper to
write on but you will get to see thes Old Staff they all
say I am A getting fat I believe I am my self but
I am little yet I dont believe I every will be much bigger
Ann is bigger and taller than me now but she keps

and corn shucking at night and afrolick after
that Wee are sinding apone of wheat Bread
and some potado and a [little?] butter of

with Mr Maldin nothing more at preasant
