after A Longe delay it is with pleasure
that I Seat My Self to drop you A few
Lines to inform you how I am geting on
at this tim I am well at this time & has
bin ever Since I wrote to you, this is the
first Leter I have writen to you Since I
wrote by Doc.. Mcdonal
I Received your kind Leter whitch you Sent
by Mcdonal & the Straw tick also
I was glad to hear from you & to hear that
you was geting on So well
Father the reason why I havent writen to
you Sooner is, week before last our Company
was orderd out on picket to go to Lowey
Island their I hadent time to write & when we
Came back to this Island Last week I had
No pen Nor No Money till yester day
we drawed Money So I went yester day
& bought Me Som pens

Lowery was geting I dont think he gets
any beter he is very Low I Saw hime
yesterday he Loocks bad
Sisters I tell you I am very Sory that
ferlows has bin Stopt for I wanted to Com
home the worst in the world
I would Like to See you all the best Sort
if I Could but I Cant yet A while
Mary tell all the Girls that I would Like to See
them & also tel My diner that I Love her as
good as ever
