Dear father I am well
and getting a long a long
well at this time as one could

meal but our met comes out
rather short some times the boys
enjoyes there self pirty I have
just come in to finish my letter
for I had to go out and take a
play with them wee firs started
the play in the camp then we
devided the croud and had a grate
play and then there came over

battle I can tell you that it
was a pirty sight to see tow or
thre thousand men in an old
field at one time playing
in the snow in regular ba
ttle form this is a grate
plase for a musement and
