Riley Jasper Amerson (1841-1918) was a resident of Marion County, Alabama. He was married to Mary Amerson (b. ca. 1841). In the 1860 census, they had three children. He served in Co. I, 32nd Alabama Infantry as a private during the Civil War. He survived the war and later resided in Fayette County, Alabama.
