Biography:
Nancy McMillian (1777-1868) was born in North Carolina but resided in Fayette County, Alabama. In 1860, she and her husband James (b. ca. 1778 in NC) were living with their daughter Mary, her husband James Poe, and their grandchildren. Although it is not clear why, after the war, Nancy relocated to Atlanta, where she died and was buried in Oakland Cemetery.
