Well Father
I seat myself and more to let
you know that we have been
payed of[f] & John Walker was down
here & I gave him $77.00 to Carry
up to you. I saved back twenty
five I shall send some of that
home to before I leave if nothing
happens I expect I shall have to
git me a nother pare ofboots
before we go we shall go in about
four or five days John Walker
says he has got that money from
the express he gave me a
receipt for that money &
I will send it to you
you can dispose of that money
at your own liking
