Lucy A. (Tirrell) Parrott
Lucy A. (Tirrell) Parrott (b. ca. 1836) was the wife of Josiah R. Parrott (b. ca. 1833), a clicker, or shoe cutter (OED), from Weymouth, Norfolk County, Massachusetts. They had two sons, John Gibson Parrott (b. April 10, 1858) and Fletcher R. Parrott (b. 1870, d. 1871). After the war, Josiah returned home to Lucy and John, moved from Weymouth and lived for a short time in Braintree in Norfolk County (1865 MA Census) before settling in Brockton in Plymouth County where he worked as a shoe cutter (1880 Census). Lucy died in 1923 at the age of 87. Both she and Josiah are buried in North Weymouth, Norfolk County, Massachusetts.
