Lines to you to
Let you know that I am
Well at this time and hope this
few Lines ma find you all well
I Was sick a bout four
days With the dyerhea
but I am hartery Now than
ever I have bin since I have
bin out I received your
Letter Last Night and
Was vary glad to hear from
you all I am sorry to think that
you hant got any Letters from
me since the 24 of september.

Letters since I have bin
hur I have Wrote four
Letters since the 24 sep
I have received three Letters
from home I Wount to Write
one every Weak to mee fur I
have not time to so often
fur We have bin on a study
march since the first day of
october We have had a hard

fur a bout too Weeks be
cose hour teams coud not
get up to us We had a
fight a[t] peryes Ville [2] We was
thare but We did not Shoot
eny Whare We Laid the bullets
Whistle over hour heads
as thick hale the boys
is generly all Well Fred
Runynolds has bin very sick
but he is a getting a good deal
beter Bitler Vurhaes is Well

stamps you Wunted to know
if I had sene the 31 first boys or not
I sene Tomas Woods he
Was Well then the rest of them
did not Come over me and
aron maton and bob maton
Cooks and sleeps to geather

Last night a mess of
beaf Lits [3] we bilt
them first then we
fried them they was
good we hant drawed
eny pay yet We are in tennessee
in about 7 miles of Nash
Ville in camp We expect
to stay hur a while I
think Freelin I wount you
to write me biger Letters paper
must be dern scarce thare I
think [?] of hour men
deserted I must bring
my Letter to a close for the
present time direct
your Letters as before
Write as soon as you get
this I would like to see
you all No more
