Dear Mother and Sister it was
with plesure I received your leter
of the 3 I was glad to here that
you ar all well I am well
at present the Rebels Still
holdes Petersburgh we have
been in Camp since the 14th
of june we ar bilding a fort
Some part of our Brigade
is at worke on it all the
time day and nite it will
be a Strong plase when finished
the old 62 Redt has Blowed
out the old members has went
home there there time being
out all but 2 Co ours and
Co L there time ant out
till in August we ar
attached to the 91st Pa
the Remainder of the 62
