Catherine Guest (b. ca. 1806) was a Chester County, Pennsylvania widow who had two sons, William (b. ca. 1836) and John (b. ca. 1843), who served in the Union Army. She also had a daughter, Ellen Guest, and a son, Isaac Guest. At the time of the 1860 Census, Catherine and William resided in the same household. William’s occupation is listed as “carpenter,” and neither he nor his mother owned any property.
