We recieve
your Letter and the things
that you sent to us by Luis
Myers and was very glad to
hear from you and that you
ware well The Money that we
sent you we wanted you to
use it any way as you though
best and i am very glad that

i dont think much of her We
have got our Barracks nearly
finished and only commenced
last Windsday we will git into
it this week i think The officer
Comenced thares to day and
will git this with it to if

The weather Keeps up we will
send our clothes up with Pete
and he will Come down on
Saturday you need not send
my wite shirt down for they
are not fit to ware in Camp
they git dirty to quick we are
all well now and havent
much to doo we only drill [3?]
a day and then not very long
i will have to stop as the drum
is Beating for roll call good
