to let you no how we ar giting
along we ar al wel at this time
hopeing these few lines may fine
you all wel we expect to leve
lynchburg in the morning for
Richmond W. L. Hartsel

we fared tolerable wel here
you nedent to write to us yet
we dont think that we wil
be kept very long

I am very wel Satisfied
my self so far I eat when I can
