Biography: 

James N. Honnoll (b. ca. 1843) was from Tishamingo County, Mississippi and served as a private in Co. A, 32nd Mississippi Infantry. He was wounded at Chickmauga on September 20, 1863 and sent home on furlough. He eventually returned to his regiment and was captured in the fighting near Atlanta on July 22, 1864, confined at Camp Chase, Ohio, and released on May 8, 1865.
