Harvey H. Miller (b. November 6, 1933) served as a lieutenant in Co. F, 20th Indiana Infantry. He was born in Eaton, Preble County, Ohio, but his parents had both died by the time he was five years old. He was raised in Cass County, Indiana, by his uncle, Lewis L. Irving. He mustered into the army in July, 1861, and received an honorable discharge on July 8, 1864. He married Kate R. Wheelock during a leave of absence in 1863, and they had three children.
