Savannah Georgia April the 20th 1862

Sister
after dewly respects I inform you
that I am well as usual hoping
those fiew lines may find you well
I write to you to send you my
trunk key & Daves to my key has
a small chain in it I,ve nothing
much to write you ,, I ask you to
write to me whether father has
received my money or not I
thought I would send it by [MW?]
Arnett but I did not do it I [1]
sent it by Noah Westberry as I
thought it would be safe there was
the sum of 20 Dollars in it and
I want you to let me no as soon as
you can so I,ve nothing of much
importance to write you now so I
shall close by assigning my name
as your truly Brother F George
