Biography: 

David Murdock (b. ca. 1820) was a farmer and resident of Abbeville County, South Carolina. He joined Co. I, 1st Regiment, South Carolina State Troops in the Civil War. He was married to Jane Murdock, and they had at least one son named John D (b. ca. 1849). He was a family friend to Fenton Hall and the Boyd brothers.
