William H. Ivey Letters

William H. Ivey (b. ca. 1832) was a farmer from Upson County, Georgia. At the time of the 1860 Census, he was living in the household of his widowed mother, Mary. E. “Eliza” Ivey, along with his brother-in-law, J. M. Pound, and his sister, Mary Ann Pound. William H. Ivey’s occupation was listed as “overseer.”Ivey served as a private in Co. I, 32nd Georgia Infantry.
