Biography: 

John Garner Fowler (b. ca. 1829) lived in Beaverdam Creek, Greenville District, South Carolina. He and his wife, Sarah Ann (b. ca. 1831), had several children by the 1860 census. John served in the Confederacy, possibly Co. H, 16th South Carolina Infantry (the Greenville Regiment). He survived the war and eventually moved to Texas with his family.
