Edwin R. Manson Papers, 1863-1865

Edwin R. Manson (b. ca. 1845) was from Limerick, York County, Maine. He mustered into service as a private in Co. A, 27th Maine Infantry (a nine-month regiment) in September 1862 and mustered out of service in July 1863. He also served as a private (later corporal) in Co. L, 2nd Maine Cavalry.
