Biography: 

Henry A. Hefflefinger (1843-1922) was a resident of Virginia. According to his service records, he resided in Christiansburg in Montgomery County, Virginia, but the 1860 Census indicates that he was then living in Patrick County, Virginia. In 1880 Henry and his wife, Angelina (b. 1846), were living in Patrick County where Henry made his living as a farmer and miller. He enlisted in Co. K, 50th Virginia Infantry on June 22, 1861. He was captured at Snickers Gap on July 18, 1864 and confined at Elmira prison camp before being released on June 23, 1865.
