Henry Baker Papers
Henry Baker (b. ca. 1829) was from Catawba County, North Carolina and served as a private in Co. E, 57th North Carolina Infantry. In the 1860 census his occupation is listed as "carriage maker." At that time, Baker and his wife, Mary (b. ca. 1833), had two daughters, Ida (age 5) and Julia (age 3).
