Biography: 

Albert H. Carter (b. ca. 1842) was a farmer from Leominster, Worcester County, Massachusetts. He enlisted in Co. A, 36th Massachusetts Infantry on August 25, 1862. He was promoted to corporal on January 1, 1864 and was killed in action on May 6, 1864 at the Battle of the Wilderness.
