Biography: 

Elisha Peterson (b. ca. 1839) was a farm laborer from Hamilton County, Ohio, the son of Jacob S. and Charity Peterson. Elisha Peterson mustered into service as a private in Co. D, 4th Ohio Cavalry on August 13, 1862 and mustered out on June 24, 1865.
