Daniel Setzer Papers

Daniel A. Setzer (1823-1907) was a farmer from Catawba County, North Carolina. He served as a private in Co. K, 46th North Carolina Infantry. At the time of the 1860 census, Daniel Setzer and his wife, Susan (1828-1869), had four children, aged 11, 9, 3, and 1. His oldest son, Robert Carr Setzer (1848-1920) joined his father in Co. K, 46th NC Inf. toward the end of the war.
